Introduction

My name is Steve and I've been into role playing games for quite some time; since 1986, in fact, when I purchased my first Dungeons & Dragons boxed set (more on that later). Times have changed quite a bit since then and so have role playing games; heck, so has my single game of choice (D&D). I've recently discoverd what is being touted as the "Old School Renaissance" in the gaming community. This blog will seek to explore the "OSR" through the eyes of someone who, until recently, was very much "new school" (despite having gamed for a quarter of a century).
